Joe went hunting this weekend so, AK and I had a few visitors. My mom and dad came to see us. We had big fun shopping and eating out. We even found AK her first little pair of shoes! They are so cute and tiny. Saturday AK rooted on the LSU tigers with her BG (my dad). Our tigers are now 5-0! Geaux Tigers!

Anna Kate went on her 1st road trip this past weekend! We went to visit Joe's mom and grandparents in Kennett, MO. She did great on the way there and not so great on the way back. Oh well, at least she was good on the way there and during the visit. We had lots of fun showing her off. Here are a few recent pics from last week and our trip this past weekend.

I can't believe Anna Kate is 8 weeks old! She is loving having her brace off. She is kicking and squirming all day! We love not having to deal with the brace too! here are some new pics of little miss Anna Kate.

FREE AT LAST!!!

This pic is Anna Kate on the first day she started wearing her brace with her Aunt Jill. (She was soooo much littler!) Anna Kate says, "I'm free at last!" (This was today with no brace!)


Anna Kate got her brace off today! We are so excited. We had another hip ultrasound yesterday. The orthopedist called today to tell me that her hips have greatly improved and the brace can come off! This is the most exciting thing for us. She has worn this brace for 6 weeks 24 hours a day. We only took it off at bathtime. We are having fun just looking at her little legs and feet! We haven't gotten a good look at them in a while. She is having fun kicking and being free!!!

This labor day weekend was very fun! Joe's mom and grandmother came to see us. We all enjoyed playing with the baby and hanging out.

Anna Kate is still having a rough time with her reflux during the day. Her nights are alot better but the days are long! We switched her medicine from Zantac to Prevacid today. We are hoping that will help.

We can't believe our little girl is 7 weeks old! She is a cutie and changing every day!
