Well, we have had many sleepless nights and plenty of tears shed until we finally decided to see the doctor. Aparently Anna Kate has acid reflux! This would explain alot! Poor baby is doing better now that we have her on Zantac. She still has very fussy spells which we think are in relation to her brace and/or gas. Who really knows. We are doing better though. She has to sleep at night in her carseat because of the incline. Poor baby! Here are some new pics. There is one with her Mim and BG. Her other grandparents are coming the next two weekends so we can't wait to take pics with them! There is also a pic of Anna Kate with her new friends Cooper and Cohen (my friend Rachel's twins that were born the week after Anna). They were perfect angels for the photo shoot while Anna Kate screamed her head off!

I'm glad that you guys have diagnosis and hope that the new adjustments are helping her sleep and feel better.

Hope the zantac makes her belly feel better quickly!! Jamie's Samuel had reflux, too. It's awful!!!!

You don't know me... I'm a friend of a friend. But I heard you just had a little girl named Anna Kate. I had a baby on July 12 and we named her Anna Kate! I'm a friend of Kristy Patterson's, and her friend Kimberly left a comment on my blog. I remember Joe from HU because he was a JuGoJu beau when my roommate Whitney Leach was president. Whitney also told me that you guys have an Anna Kate. How did you guys come up with the name? Is she named after anyone? She's just beautiful! I know your home must be so full of joy right now! You don't know me either, but I knew Joe at Harding. Congrats on a beautiful baby girl! I just wanted to comment because my nephew had reflux as a baby too and they went through the whole carseat to sleep, zantac, etc. I just wanted to offer you some encouragement because it DOES get better! Tell Joe "hi" for me and I hope you both get caught up on sleep soon!

We came up with the name Anna just as a derivitive of Ann (my mother's name and my middle name). Her real middle name is Katherine and I was going to call her Anna Katherine but I thought that was a long name for a little girl and we just loved Kate so Anna Kate it is! Your little Anna Kate is a cutie!
That's so great that you were able to honor your mom in such a special way! My name is Hannah Katherine, so my husband liked that Anna Kate was sort of a shortened version of my name. I just loved the name... never really occurred to me that it was so similar to my name until my husband pointed it out when we were discussing names. I'm actually kind of embarrassed that her name is so close to mine, because I really wasn't trying to name her after me! But I loved the name too much to drop it! I'll have to check in on your Anna Kate from time to time... it will be fun to see two Anna Kates grow!
